A break-up is a tough time for anybody, and one which can leave you emotionally devastated. You cannot stop thinking about your ex, and you know that you want them back. You might think its impossible, but in most cases, break-ups can be reversed. It takes time and work, but there are things you can do to get your ex back.
Before you can try to get your ex back, you must first let out all the pain. Focus on the fact that letting go will eventually bring them closer to you. Dont shut everything out however. You need to come to terms with the break-up, but you cannot spend too much time thinking about it, as itll hinder your progress.
Doing this will allow you to reach a calm and clear-minded state; one where youll be able to think a little clearly. Think about the relationship with you ex and focus on what caused it to breakdown in the first place. Knowing why it ended will bring you one step closer to fixing things with your ex.
At this point, you need to give yourself and your ex time apart from each other, to help distance yourselves from the break-up. This will allow your ex to begin to miss you and will allow you to plan what you need to do to set things right. Spending time apart from each other will increase the chance of you both getting back together.
Use the support of those around you. Talk to friends, family and other loved ones. They will provide you with much needed emotional support, but will also help you stay calm and collected, which is essential if you wish to win your ex back.
Build up contact with your ex slowly, via email, text or phone and arrange a meet up if you can. Keep it friendly and light. If youre the one that contributed to the break-up, then you need to apologise; but realise that you may not expect the same from your ex. Slowly remind your ex of the times you spent together, but dont get too heavy. Rekindle the romance when youre sure that your exs interest in you has been renewed as a result of your efforts, but be prepared to accept staying apart.
